Labeling is an important part of keeping your house organized, especially when you have large bins stored in closets or basements. Why waste time searching every bin and box when a simple label could have identified its contents?
For big boxes, I like to use big labels. Usually I’m just ripping off a piece of notebook paper and taping it on the side of the box but if you’d like something cuter, look for decorative sticker labels or make your own. Add a Sharpie pen to that equation and look out!
Label makers are an easy way to label small things around the house. These label makers are also extremely helpful for those with arthritis or who have poor handwriting.
Here is just a sampling of what you can (and SHOULD) label around your house:
- refrigerator bins or shelves
- shelves in the pantry
- file folder tabs
- smaller toy bins
- binder tabs
- electronic cords or charges
No matter which method you choose, get to labeling so you can get your home organized!
